When Jack and Ellie reached out to us about capturing their special day at Pennard House, we were thrilled to learn about this enchanting Grade II listed family-owned estate. Complete with a converted Coach House and picturesque gardens, the venue promised a dreamy backdrop for their celebration. Once they confirmed us as their chosen photographers, we eagerly planned a pre-wedding shoot at the venue, which you can explore further. The anticipation only grew as we explored the romantic charm of Pennard House.
Ellie prepared for her big day in the exquisite Orchard room bridal suite, adorned with a roll-top bath, chandeliers, and ample natural light. It provided the perfect setting for her morning preparations. Meanwhile, Jack and his groomsmen readied themselves in another part of the venue. We appreciated the convenience of having both the bride and groom prepare at the same location, ensuring a stress-free start to the day. Once dressed, they ventured outside to warmly welcome guests ahead of the ceremony.
Despite the unpredictable English weather, the couple was determined to have an outdoor ceremony. With the help of a stretch tent providing cover, Jack and Ellie's dream of an alfresco ceremony amidst the idyllic grounds of Pennard House came to life. The ceremony was a beautiful affair, marked by smiles, a few tears, and heartfelt vows. The newlyweds then proceeded to the lawn in front of the main house, where cheers and confetti welcomed them.
Following some family photos, we stole a moment with the couple for their intimate photoshoot. With the rolling Somerset countryside as a backdrop and a lush English garden in full bloom, the options were abundant. And, of course, we couldn't resist incorporating the charming wedding tipis into the imagery.
Jack and Ellie, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for choosing us
